This is what I ate this week. The only thing I write regularly in is my moleskin, and that is just ideas. I haven't ever successfully had a journal in life because I feel that when one has a journal they seek out to do things they normally wouldn't do - maybe that is a good thing.
Tuesday
7:00 AM small glass of orange juice, tropicana some pulp. Bowl of Oatmeal (small) with blueberries at home in the living room
A Very Cherry Snapple Punche Liters at 10 AM 12PM at home. thirsty in living room
11:00 am Five O'live juice from concentrate like the majority of fruit juices, still enjoy it though. Small glass, taste better than OJ sometimes
1:42 Cherry Tea. ( I did it because this food journal made me thirsty. In fact, it makes me want to plan what I am going to eat hours in advance. i.e. Next entry... I also believe this journal could have the reverse impact where a subject eats less and constantly watches it.)
4:00 Thai Chicken Peanut Pasta (noodles, peanut butter, vinegar, carrots, green onions, peanuts, soy sause, vegtable oil etc) small bowl of it. Also, Glacier Freeze Gatorade (high fructose corn syrup. salts) This was pretty much lunch to me. I like to keep my servings small (like Dan Buettner suggests - eat until your 80 percent full, keep it healthy)
4:35 Four slices of corn beef (no bread). Tall glass of five o live, two bananas. Didn't eat much until four, so I am still hungry. Waiting to have more peanut pasta later before bedtime.
6:45 Lemon juice salad with goat cheese, spinach, blueberries, pineapple and strawberries - Large bowl. Another tall glass of Five alive. This salad is amazing, try it.
8:40 Another banana and five o live. This is the worst banana! Small doses of food works for me. My brother says I eat like a bird.
Explanation:
I didn't go to school or work today. I've been awake since as long as I can remember yesterday. I didn't really do anything today but go to the grocery store/pharmacy, walk my dog and tried to study. I usually eat this way unless its a holiday.
Wednesday
One liter of tap water 9:05-2:30 necessary, daily routine when at school. Often refill it. morning class, bus, st. paul campus
Lunch (11:15) - Corn beef sandwich (five thin slices, goat cheese, spinach, mayo, nine grade bread) and banana ate at Magrath library smart commons. Necessary quality meal during long day. Damnit, I had an avocado and I didn't put in it my sandwich, biggest mistake of the day.
2:30 New Belgium Ranger IPA 12 oz , thirsty
2:54 Ranger IPA, this might be my new beer. Hopefully my brother doesn't like it, if he does I'll be drinking less beer (he's 6'4 230 and enjoys drinking my beer)
5:10 Ranger IPA. goat cheese and crackers, my brother snuck a beer from the six pack
5:29 Ranger IPA
6:00 Family dinner with 2% milk with Pot roast ( chuck roast, pepper, olive oil, beef stock, dry red wine, parsley, salt, yellow onions, carrot chunks, potatoes, tomatoes, celery, broccoli, peas) this dinner is a must have because it is a winter meal. Large bowl. My brother (the sociopath/nariccist) wouldn't quit bitching about hour sour it was. He pretty much ruined what could have been a good meal, but that is typical. The pot roast was still great.
8:00 glass of five o live and bowl of fruit salad wtih avacado and mint.
9:00 glass of five o live
Explanation: This is a regular day for me. I drink beer a few times a week days a week.
Thursday
1 liter of water through out the day.
Lunch 11:30 Corn beef sandwich, same as yesterday in the Walter smart commons. Hungry.
3:30 Huckleberry raspberry banana shake. Tall glass, huckleberry and raspberry jam and a banana. I really enjoy this shake and that is why I made it.
4:15 small Bowl of pot roast, handful of craisins and two glasses of lemonade. I was still hungry.
6:25 Chipolte Chicken burrito (one half) family dinner. Didn't think it was that good considering everything else I have eaten the past few days. I can see why I don't go there often now.
7:45 Sierra Nevada torpedo IPA 12 oz. I had to get back at my brother for taking mine yesterday
8:45 Summit Pilsner Ale 12 oz. thirsty.
Explanation: If I could have done one thing differently today I would have not eaten Chipolte and eaten a salad. That would have been much better for me
