Laura's Food Diary

CSCL Food Diary

A note about almost all my meals: I am a PSEO student, so I live at home and therefore eat most of my meals there (all "where's" are my house unless otherwise specified). I also can’t really cook at all, which is the reason a ton of my meals are like “peanut butter, vegetables”. So, nearly all my “whys” are “I was home and was hungry and ate the least cooking-intensive item”. Just thought I’d clarify.

Wednesday 3/3:

9: 20 am: several handfuls of raisins, 1 cup of tea, 1 apple pop tart (ate it at my house for breakfast because it was quick and I woke up late)

4:00 pm: 1 bowl amy’s tortalini with pesto, I cup milk, several more handfuls of raisins (at my house, easy lunch–late because I had debate practice and so couldn’t eat earlier)

9:20 pm: several wheatthins, 1 cup water with ice, carrots and dill dip, 1 english muffin with steamed spinach and butter (at my house, easy dinner, late because I took a really really long nap after lunch)

1:00–3:00 am: several more handfuls of wheatthins, two cups orange juice (late snacks while writing a paper)



Thursday 3/4:

8:20 am: 1 apple pop tart, 1 large cup of milk (my house, easy breakfast)

11:45 am: 1 spoonful of organic peanut butter, ½ a carrot, 1 bowl nachos with salsa, 1 cup milk, 1 handful of raisins (easy lunch, random assortment of foods because I can’t cook, my house)

4:00 pm: I handful of raisins, 1 glass of orange juice/fizzy water (post-nap snack, my house)

5:20 pm: 1 english muffin with steamed spinach and butter (light dinner pre-dog walk, my house)

8:30 pm: 1 Pizza Luce ultimate veggie hoagie, 2 cups of milk, 1 luna bar (out for dinner with the debate team, decided to splurge because I found money in my pants)


Friday 3/5:

9:15 am: 1 apple pop tart, I cup of milk (quick breakfast cause I woke up late again)

11:30 am: 1 apple, several raisins, 1 pack thai noodle package, one cup of milk (quick lunch, not super hungry so didn’t feel like finding anything more nutritious)

4:30 pm: 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter, several handfuls of raiseis, 1 cup of milk (post nap snack)

6:30 pm: several handfuls of raisins, cucumber with dill dip, fried potatoes and onions with ketchup, steamed spinach (mom made potatoes so I ate them, otherwise average lazy diner, my house)

11:30 pm: 1 bag munchies brand snack (went out with friends and bought a bunch of horrible food to eat during a movie. They were tasty).
